SGI worked closely with off take parties and industry to develop India’s first Hyper & Ultra High Purity Quartz.
Bulk scale production to produce a range of products being 4N8 and 5N (SiO2 content over 99.999%) Hyper & Ultra High Purity Quartz has commenced.
SGI is targeting 25,000tpa at maiden nameplate capacity and growing, with off take demand, the Hyper & Ultra High Purity Quartz and Ultra High Purity Synthetic Silica product streams.
Hyper & Ultra High Purity Quartz
Hyper & Ultra High Purity is an important and urgent task, to support the transition to the renewable economy. The material is used in the manufacture of crucibles for the solar industry, optical glass, optical fibers for internet cables, silicon for solar power and semiconductor industry.
Ultra High Purity Synthetic Silica
Synthetic silica is essential for high-value technologies including semiconductors, the medical industry for drug delivery, optical fibre, the solar industry due to its inherent high quality, high surface area, uniform pore sizes and pore volumes.
Products
SGI offer high purity quartz sand with SIO2 between 99.999% and 99.9999%. Uniquely high quality quartz material in domestic area combined the advanced purifying technology and facilities ensure our quality consistent and stable.
Our products can be generally divided into 3 grades according to different applications. The characteristics of low phosphor and boron make it ideal for polycrystalline silicon, Quartz crucible, semiconductor and solar industries.
